Vertical ink on paper, mounted and scrolled, signed BEIHONG, inscribed ON FEB. 19TH 1939 SET DEDICATEDLY FLAVOROUS FLOWERS TO LINE-DRAW GUANYIN FIGURE AT AN AREA, TO PRAY FOR THE DEAD CHINESE GENERALS AND SOLDIERS WHO HAVE SACRIFICED THEMSELVES TO THE CHINESE ANTI-JAPANESE WAR, with one seal of the artist.
